Folding Tanto - FK124

Tanto knives, which harken back to the years of the famed Samurai warriors, are usually straight and are the shortest of the Samurai weapons.

It is the tip or point that gave the swords the futuristic look.

In the l980's the Tanto, with the Americanized armor piercing point, became very popular.

In this case Harald went a step further and designed a folder in the modern Tanto style, featuring a skull crusher on the butt end of the handle.

This Tanto style folding knife has a 3 3/8" blade and is 8" overall and it measures
4 1/2" closed.

The blade is etched stainless Damascus in the Kringla pattern.

The bolsters are made of twisted colored nickel Damascus.

The handle is iridescent Mosaic Paua shell.

The screws are gold plated and the 14K gold thumbstud features a red ruby that has been hand set.

The finished inside rear spacer features the makers name "Moeller" in old English letters.

Comes with a zippered pouch.  A solid walnut presentation box is also available.
